Sterling K. Brown gives a spirited performance as Monk’s younger, reckless, and bawdy brother Clifford [in American Fiction].
[Brown's character Cliff] has recently come out as gay after his wife busted him in bed with another man and took everything he had in the divorce. Since then, Cliff has gone wild, soothing his pain with sex and drugs.
Brown is especially hilarious as a man going through some very significant mid-life changes.
thought jeffrey wright was great, but will now be focusing my energy on getting sterling k brown a comedy vehicle of his own.
It makes me feel crazy that Sterling K. Brown isn't a massive movie star, he's so fucking funny here.
